Angstrom is a truly unique element of the British rock scene. Based in Cambridge, it has existed in various lineups since 1990, the current lineup having formed in early '98. Gwenda fronts the band with, not only a great voice, but also a truly striking stage persona.

The music ranges from driving energy rock to rich balladic psychedelia (hints of local boys Pink Floyd). The band describe their sound as 'journey music', ranging through a wide spectrum of moods and textures.

Angstrom released its first album last year. Part studio part live album, 'Real Virtuality' was recorded at Riverrun Studios and The Boatrace, Cambridge's premier venue for independent music.
